They were immersed in the culture and lifestyle of the many different countries that the band had visited. They also experienced performing in some of the world’s most amazing concert halls, venues and regions.
One of the most memorable places the band visited was Menin Gate in Belgium, a memorial to Allied soldiers lost during the First World War.
Llew's Brass Band Page
One of our members, Llewellyn, has made a wonderful page recounting the history of brass banding and has links to many YouTube videos. It also provides a nice explanation of the different instruments available to be played.
The page can be seen on Llew's personal web page.
